Beacon Services & Appliances is a locally owned appliance store and HVAC company built on one simple idea: Service Comes Before Sales. Our team is known for yellow polo shirts, friendly expertise, and doing right by our neighbors. We sell and service major home appliances and provide professional HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.

The Role

We’re hiring an Appliance Sales Consultant who enjoys helping homeowners find the right fit for their budget, space, and lifestyle. If you’re coachable, community-minded, and take pride in clear, honest guidance, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers, listen closely, and recommend the best appliance options (features, capacities, warranties, energy use, and installation considerations).
• Guide shoppers through comparisons of brands like Speed Queen, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, and more.
• Provide accurate quotes, financing options, delivery timelines, and next steps.
• Create simple, clean invoices and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Coordinate with our delivery/installation team to ensure a smooth experience after the sale.
• Represent Beacon’s “service first” culture in person, on the phone, and via email/text.

What You’ll Bring

• Sales experience preferred (appliances, retail, home services, furniture, or similar).
• Clear, friendly communication and strong follow-through.
• Comfort using a POS/CRM and basic email/texting on the job.
• Organizational skills and attention to details.
• Curiosity to learn product features, model differences, and warranty terms.
• Reliability—on time, ready to help, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand, move around the showroom, and occasionally help tag or stage floor models (light lifting).

Nice to Have

• Experience with in-home products (appliances, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring, etc.).
• Familiarity with extended warranties and financing conversations.
• Bilingual skills. (Not required)

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay: $43,000–$60,000/year based on experience & performance incentives.
• Schedule: Full-time, on-site. Some Saturdays required (we’re a retail showroom).

Appliance Repair Technician

We are looking for someone who shows good character, good communication skills, who has integrity and is driven. You must like people!

Specific Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Complete invoices, keep clean work area/vehicle
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
